Guido Bowen is an intern on the Church of England’s Ministry Experience Scheme, which gives young people the opportunity to discern their vocation in a full-time, practical setting. Guido will be with us for six months, including the periods up to Christmas and following Easter, contributing to the work of Holy Trinity while also receiving theological training and pastoral mentoring.

Guido hails originally from Leeds, West Yorkshire, but is based now in Eastbourne, East Sussex. Before coming to Holy Trinity, Guido was a Learning Support Assistant at a sixth form college in Lewes, supporting young adults with special educational needs and disabilities. He read Spanish and Classics at the University of Edinburgh, and is now a postulant in the Diocese of Chichester. He is passionate about languages, classical music, gothic architecture, and Roman archaeology.
