The Salvation Army Belgium

The Church Council has agreed to start a project to support the work of the Salvation Army in Belgium.  The project will consist of collecting health and hygiene items to be distributed among the various food banks and shelters run by the Salvation Army in Brussels.  Although financial support is given to the Salvation Army to provide food aid or board and lodging the funds received do not support other essential items such as toothpaste, shampoo, women’s sanitary products etc.  That is where we come in!  We are asking every member of Holy Trinity to consider donating something once a month – it could be one bottle of shampoo or a tube of toothpaste (or more).  We will provide you with a suggested list of products today and you can bring your gifts on October 29 to any of our four services.  If you can’t be there on the 29 we can arrange something with you.  We will then have another collection in November, December etc.  We hope that this will become a regular ministry here at Holy Trinity.  Watch out for the list of products needed from next week and if you have any questions please contact Heather Roy
